EFLA is proud to offer full and partial scholarships to deserving students for our Summer Learning & Leadership Academy and our pioneering online Standing on the Shoulders of Giants "Teach & Learn" Black history curriculum.

Scholarships are funded by EFLA, the corporate and business community, nonprofit and social organizations, and individual gifts. Please join us and sponsor a scholarship for a bright young student today!

SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS:

In addition to providing deserving students with the opportunity to participate in EFLA's transformative educational programs, Sponsors receive the following benefits:

  • Brand Visibility: Corporate name/logo on EFLA's website and marketing material (social media, flyers, etc.). Permission to promote your sponsorship on your company/organization's website and marketing material.  

  • Recognition: Formal acknowledgement and thanks as well as a speaking opportunity at EFLA graduation/awards ceremony. Sponsors also receive a thank you letter from the sponsored student acknowledging the impact of your scholarship. 

  • Metrics: EFLA will provide a comprehensive list of any marketing materials featuring your company logo, and the number of impressions it received.

$100 – Sponsor-A-Student to study UNIT 1 of EFLA's pioneering online Standing on the Shoulders of Giants Black history curriculum.
project-based model, students combine academics with entrepreneurship while developing the leadership skills demanded by the nation's top colleges and universities. Students learn hands-on how to develop a business plan and marketable product using Black history as a theme. In addition, students participate in college prep and skills-building workshops and tour local colleges.
